About The Role

The LTA has been the governing body of tennis in Britain since 1888 and our vision is to open tennis up to all different types of people. Tennis is a game for everyone, and when we open tennis up, we open up the ambitions of our people too! We’re innovative, bold, ambitious, and proud of the work we’re doing – you can see it in our teams, who are friendly and made of different energetic voices.

The LTA Padel Team oversees the strategic development and delivery of padel in Britain, aligned to the LTA Padel Strategy 2024–2029. The team leads across participation, competition, performance pathway activity and GB representative teams, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the LTA to support infrastructure growth, workforce development, major events and commercial activity.

This role will play an important part in delivering against the 2026 Annual Padel Plan, with a primary focus on supporting the Padel Performance Pathway and GB national team operations.

The role is ideally suited to a student from a Sports Management, Business, Events or Performance background who is keen to gain practical experience within a national governing body and high-performance sport environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of GB national team activity across Men’s, Women’s, Junior and Senior programmes.
  • Coordinate logistics for national training camps and international sanctioned team events (including travel, accommodation and itineraries).
  • Manage player and stakeholder communications relating to selections, camps and competitions.
  • Support team kit ordering, tracking and distribution.
  • Maintain accurate athlete databases and assist with the implementation of a new Athlete Management System.
