Our vision is ‘Tennis Opened Up’, and our mission is to transform communities through tennis, focusing on three areas – making tennis welcoming, enjoyable and inspiring to everyone.
In line with the LTA’s vision of Tennis Opened Up and mission to transform communities through tennis, the LTA is committed to growing and diversifying the tennis workforce and has partnered with the Greater London Authority (GLA) to develop a 3 year programme, Rally Together London, that will deliver meaningful and sustainable impact by recruiting, training and deploying a tennis workforce that would not only build confidence, improve life skills and provide employment opportunities for under-represented groups across London but also substantially grow participation in tennis.
Rally Together London - Aims and Outcomes:
1. 250 people from under-represented backgrounds to be trained and deployed in the tennis workforce over a 3 year project with a minimum of 50% being female, enhancing life skills, confidence employability and health through tennis.
2. To facilitate activity for c5,500 participants with an emphasis on venues and areas that have previously had limited opportunity for tennis, tackling inactivity, improving community cohesion and widening opportunity.
The Rally Together London Administrator will report in to a Delivery Manager in the London & SE Delivery Team and play a key role in providing the administration function required to deliver the project over a 2½ year period.
